The garment featured a hip cut-out that revealed a metal buckle from the archive of Lab2022, and made its debut on Carolyn Murphy at Gucci's autumn/winter 1996 show. This is not surprising as it is not the first time that Hadid has worn archival Gucci pieces to Cannes – she has previously been seen in covetable vintage pieces.
