Bald Head Island Dining to Experience Finest Menu and Delicious Meals

Claude Pope has worked hard to make Bald Head Island more than just a golf and beach destination. His efforts include a new restaurant in the heart of town.

Jule’s Salty Grub & Island Pub is a harborside dining experience with a fun menu and a view of boats entering and departing the marina.

MoJo’s on the Harbor

This diner-style restaurant conveniently located in the heart of Stoked Village presents a delicious breakfast and lunch menu to experience Bald Head Island dining. Enjoy a tasty iced coffee or brunch cocktail with a friend. And don’t forget to grab some ice cream from Sandpiper Coffee & Ice Cream next door!

After a day spent on the beach or pool, a snack and drink are the perfect finish to your vacation. The newly opened Maritime Market offers the convenience of a small food shop and a wine bar with a unique collection of wines. It also features a small menu including chips, nuts, pretzels, and cheese plates.

For a quick bite, there’s Copper’s Wood-Fired Kitchen with pizzas, Sweet Bay Café and Catering, and Side Wok that offer quick counter service breakfast, lunch, or dinner. And the Bald Head Island Bottle, with a smaller collection of wine, is a fun stop for a glass of vino or a cold beer. They also have a small menu including a hot dog or deli-style sandwich.

Jailhouse Provisions

Once a lockup for bootleggers this eatery puts the “feast” in Orleans. The menu is a mix of Southern favorites and seafood with plenty of options to please the kids. Those with an appreciation for craft beer will enjoy the local selections served here.

This cool spot is located in the old generator building on Federal Road. This restaurant is a good option to enjoy some seafood and drinks while watching the boats come and go. It is located near Delphina Cantina, so it is a good place to grab a quick bite to eat after your arrival on the island.

The Maritime Market also houses several small restaurants that expand the dining choices on Bald Head Island. Copper’s Wood-Fired Kitchen has some great pizzas, Sweet Bay Cafe and Catering offers a variety of sandwiches and Asian cuisine like the Tempura Green Beans and Chili Garlic Shrimp, Side Wok serves up tasty Asian food, and the Market Café is inside the Maritime Market and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner items that are quick to pick up and go.

The Wisp

The Wisp is an island gem with American cuisine and stunning views of boats pulling into the harbor. The menu is packed with traditional favorites and has a nice wine list. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it’s a great place to grab a bite before or after a ski trip.

The gameplay is highly reminiscent of Limbo, which is another 2D platformer that puts players in the shoes of a young girl dodging an unfair path ahead of her. However, it also does a good job of bringing some twists to the genre with its dark themes and macabre elements.

The service offers a variety of products for women and men, including a few sexual health items, but it dials back on certain things that competitors like Nurx offer, such as COVID-19 testing and its defunct “His Page.” That said, it has a strong rating on review site Trustpilot with 4.7 out of five stars. That’s a solid score, but we’d like to see more primary care offerings from Wisp.

Bald Head Bottle

The Bald Head Island Bottle is a wine bar and shop that serves a small collection of wines. They also serve a selection of appetizers like chips, nuts and pretzels. The owners are true wine aficionados and sommeliers, and their wine selection is carefully curated to include only the best wines.

This is a great place to come for a glass of wine with friends or family while enjoying the beautiful views and sunsets at Maritime Market. The menu is a little more sophisticated than other taverns on the island, but it is still very reasonable.

Bald Head Island is a hidden treasure off the coast of Southport, NC. It is only accessible by private ferry and no cars are allowed on the island. This means the beaches and sand dunes remain unspoiled. Most of the island is protected as a natural preserve, and it is one of the most beautiful places in North Carolina.
